And on this car, the oil does come from the pressure sender. Hence, the BNPT fitting and Tee.

Got my harness in so I decided to find a home for the f/ic. Should fit here.

Did a trial fit of the patch harness that I'll be tapping into - Thanks cjernigan! You can see the velcro that I'm using to hold the f/ic.

Every fits nicely and is out of the way.

Started the car, ran for a couple of seconds, got a cel and died. One of the connectors pulled out. There's no locking mechanism on that side of the harness so I taped the connectors together and all is good. Plan to wire in the f/ic this weekend to make sure everything is working before starting the turbo install.

Got it - hard to do while laying on your back and you can't get both hands on it. I can't imagine trying to solder anything up there.
I've spent more time on my back (on the floor of my miata) then carmen electra.
My car came with a mangled ecu harness. The previous owner had chopped it to pieces and mess all kinds of things up. I had to solder much of it back together. Talk about PITA. If you remove the knee plate under the steering wheel you can easily access the ECU connectors to get at them with a screw driver.
I'm also a skinny/lanky individual, tight spaces aren't so bad for me.
