we'll see how he feels when his rings give and starts painting the windshield with oil...

Oh crazy. Got any pictures of the porting you've done? I'd love to see how far you've got.

You can just voice over parts of the video instead of cutting back to yourself every time. Would reduce the editing time, production time, and you wouldn't have to look like you're wincing in front of the camera.

So critical. Nobody's critiquing your bedside manner yet but maybe we could? Please take video of you explaining something to a patient and post it here.

They do that plenty at school, don't worry. It's also not at all relevant to anything on this thread or site in general. You're welcome to come be one of my patients when I'm in practice and criticize away!

The bulk of the post was meant to help him cut down on awkward cuts and time spent on editing because that's something he said was very time consuming. You can narrate through video instead of cutting scenes every few seconds. I didn't realize that saying someone was wincing was an egregious insult. I actually said that instead of what first came to mind because I thought it was uselessly mean and that wasn't my intent.

He posted here under a username for a business, with a video that advertises his business while discussing a project he did at work, and he asked for comments.

I get the impression you guys don't like me on your forum too much?

I'm not trying to sell you anything. The video was about a one off set up we don't even sell. I can't see most of you coming over the pond with your MX5.. sorry, Miata for some custom fab.

I came on here to chat with like minded dudes about turbo MX5s. I just so happen to run a very small business that makes some MX5 parts in the UK. I'm not going to hide that but at the same time i'm not trying to sell you anything. We dont make anything for LHD cars for a start!

I've got no problems with you. If you spend more time around here you'll figure out we bust everyone's *****, especially noobies. It's a litmus test to determine attitudes and whether they take themselves or the internet too seriously. Usually new people post an introductory thread in the meet and greet section. Self-deprecating humor and lots of interesting pictures are a good icebreaker.

This is how we treat people we are ok with. People we don't like get permanently banned after one or two posts, haha!

I thought it was funny, I can relate to the gearbox noise as I have also experienced that myself.

Thanks for sharing Doug.
