play around with the dwell during cranking and see if you cant get it working with some random value. seems like that's the only issue.

I'll try that out, I also called FM and I'm getting some 7' lengths of dual-feed cable and ecu pins crimped on one end, one way or another I will have sequential ignition and cops.

Update: I wired sequential and switched it on in the ecu, car does a partial turnover and stops starting HARD, then starts turning over again. IE: Spin, Spin, Spin, STOP, Spin, Spin, Spin, STOP.

I'm too tired to figure out if it's something I missed in the wiring but it's driving me apeshit.

sounds like the firing order is messed up.

The stopping is the motor catching in the wrong spot, IE. the pistons are getting pushed down as they are traveling upward.

Yeah it FINALLY stopped raining and it's warming up again, so I'll go check the wiring when I get off work. Hopefully it's something simple that I missed..

We have liftoff! Car seems to be operating very well now. I had cylinders 2 and 3 wired backwards (middle two). Car starts and runs great. We'll see in the morning if I'm getting my hopes up, but I'm confident everything is fine now.

For future reference, it appears the Hydra cannot fire Toyota COPs in wasted spark but can handle sequential just fine. I have to fix my dwell time to match the graph on page 1, but otherwise it's working great. Might want to add some of these details to the archived post...

From front to back, I'll count cylinders as 1-2-3-4

1-Operates off stock harness
2-Operates off D11 on Hydra harness
3-Operates off stock harness
4-Operates off D12 on Hydra harness
