45 trim T3. Would be the smallest compressor wheel that would output like a 2554. But with a turbine much larger than the 2554 it will never spool like one. and you wont find a cihnacharger version.

You can use the one I do which is the 50 trim t3...slightly bigger

im making ~236rwhp and ~235rwtq at 15psi.

yes it's an "ebay" chinacharger. you need to find the one with a 60mm compressor exducer and 42.xx exducer.

A true 2554 would have a similar mid-to-top end, however that spoolup would be more linear to 3500.

I can improve the spool a little on that red curve, my EBC is opening a little too soon according to logs. Which is probably why it dips below the curve run at wastegate.

I think your best bet to find the turbo Brain is speaking of is at a junkyard actually, a lot of the older Volvo's had these 45 Trim T3s as well I believe, correct me if I am wrong Braineack?

I assume depending on junkyard you can make away with one for around $100.

+2 for 50trim T3 (zero smoothing) check sig - I have a 3.9R&P
The T3 housing was from a svo mustang, then grabbed some .42ar housing - was a pieced together turbo from parts lieing around, supernaturalturbo.com (Reed - and he has crap load of used turbo parts)
