So what thread is it with the MSM stuff? Does it have a title? You post so often it's hard to choose the right one.

I said to search my threads. Not my posts. Do you not know how to do that? You're the one that needs the info, I'm telling you where to find it, and you're getting butthurt and crying like a little girl because I won't take the info, and spoon feed it into your mouth.

I'm completely serious when I say this, if you think I've been mean to you in this thread, you have NO IDEA how badly others can and likely will treat you for having this attitude.

Its called "ITT: fmic......."

I'll keep looking, but I haven't found anything from you to be useful. It's always don't do that, or you are doing it wrong. Maybe a helpful noob's don't know anything. Or a spend more money it's the only way. Etc...

But thanks for the time, you have really opened my eyes.

Haha this is the kind of stuff that's unnecessary and redic. Just because your a pissed off middle aged man doesn't mean you have to be a dick. I'm posting about intercooler placement and piping, your talking about grammar and punctuation. I took everyone's advice into consideration and thought but your still ready to attack me cause your now unhappy with my postings.

Look at the top of the site where there is a search button. Click it then click advance search. Put "18psi" into the search by user name, then select threads started by him. If you can not find it then it is a personal problem. It took less then 30 second for me to find the pic you wanted.

Oh, as far as my attitude goes. I came here with the intention of learning from people who want to share their experience. Not to listen to some interweb bully who sits in from of his mom's computer and has nothing better to do then tell people how wrong they are. Seriously, what did I do to offend you? Describe an IC option I have actually not seen yet? That deserves all your flaming? I don't understand why you even bother writing in the first place?

No it is completely necessary and not ridiculous at all. We have certain rules that we want people to follow on this forum. You are not following the rules we have set in which are posted in THIS thread. Which means you have not read the rules. As you have not even made an intro thread we have no desire to actually help you, because you have made no effort to follow the rules we have in place.

seralan, I also suggest that you read the thread that I just linked to and follow the advice given in it.

You can be a dick for five pages and its okay? Then after I tell you I think it's not okay to be an *** you finally tell me I must read these rules and regulations to be a part of your forum? This could have been brought up on post number two before the bashing!

Shuiend,
i have not intended to break your rules and would be happy to read the link, but I don't see it. I did notice that you copied a post I didn't write. Please explain to me how to follow the link I don't see and I will be happy to follow it. I would very much like to understand what rules I broke so I can avoid doing it again.

Thanks,

Alan

Found the link, my bad. And I have searched quite a bit looking for info. I still have not found 18psi's msm ic pics, but no dig deal.

Please notice that dumpdbassethound and I are different users.

Right! Well that and I would only like to take credit for my attitude and not his/her English.

Also,
I can see how my snarky remarks back to 18PSI originally led to our disagreement, but man why so difficult? If he had just posted a link which looks very easy to do my interest in this thread would have been pointed in the right direction. Also, with so many threads stated ending in "do a search" you do hit quite a few dead ends.

You might be able to get that to work on an NA, but you don't have an NA.

Please tear off your bumper cover and reevaluate this statement.

And will also put you out of direct airflow from the radiator air inlet in the front of the vehicle

Whatever you do, you WILL NEED DUCTING.

Yes, no popup clearance issues, but you will have issues with the factory headlights.

Please tear off your bumper cover before posting again on this subject.

I just google image searched for "240 mid mount intercooler" and every one of these setups seems to be some variation on a Front Mount InterCooler. There were many lols. I'm so confused as to why anyone is confused. But wait!

Two things this google image search has caused me to infer about the 240 crowd:
  1. They seem to think a 28x5x20 intercooler is required for a T25/T28 turbo
  2. When not using an intercooler that covers the entire front of the radiator, they position it up out of direct airflow from the nose inlet. This is apparently a "mid mount" configuration

This is most likely true IF YOU ARE USING THE ABOVE 8 LITER INTERNAL DISPLACEMENT INTERCOOLER. Use a properly sized FMIC and win at "spoolz."

All I'm asking is that you disassemble your car and take a look at what you have to work with BEFORE you waste our time and post here. You have obviously made assumptions as to how much space you have to work with, and yet you continue to argue with those of us whom have done this before.

I also found this pioneering exhaust modification on Zilvia in my serarch:

I did just find this image on FM which answers some questions. And I do think it is a good setup.

My intercooler question has been answered several times and I do understand. As far as rules I will read thru that post above to see what I should do to start over. I do want to be apart of this forum and I do want to learn from everyone, but I feel like its too late haha.

I am pretty sure a search will reveal I did not ever mention a mid mount anything. And I am not interested in ricers with 240's.

What is under the rad support that would cause me issues? The rad looks like it would need to move back about 1" which there is clearance for, but I don't see anything stopping the IC from sitting up high in front of the rad? Also, flow is created by a difference in pressure regardless of the placement of a heat exchanger. Yes placing it directly in the rad opening would be most effective at cooling the intake charge air, but it heats ALL of the air going to the radiator. I am trying to develop and idea that would still introduce ambient (outside temp air) to both the rad and the IC. Kind of a compromise. You never know it just may work? Or it may not.

15 years of R&D and mechanical engineering experience and you're still a noob and mouthing off like a butthurt little baby thinking that anyone here might give even a fraction of a **** about who you are and what you do.

If you want respect post up helpful miata related content. So far you've proven yourself to not know a miata from a ***** in your drawer, so you wont be winning any arguments any time soon, or have room to put others down. (but you're welcome to try)

You know how many n00bs like you came in here with "revolutionary new ideas" thinking they're the next einstein? LOLOL

Bitches like you cry about me all day every day, it doesn't bother me. I am here to make you cry. It entertains me.

Good day sir.

It's not that we don't like to answer questions and help people. We do. All of us have asked questions. Nobody knows everything. That being said, this board gets a lot of flash-in-the-pan posters with big dreams and little means to accomplish them.

"Hey broz, just got my miata I'm gonna turbo it up hook me up with everything I need to know! I got a sweet ebay turbo kit otw!"

Before anyone expects to get any respect on this board, they have to show several things.
1. That they've done independent work (researched and looked for information) and are now stuck on something. IE, they have real questions.
2. They can post said questions in a reasonably articulate fashion. Those whose first language is not English get a break here.
3. They're not a dumbass. We do not require supra-genius levels of intelligence. Hell, some of us are probably pushing average at best. But dumbassery is not allowed and will be punished. E-thuggery will ensue.

See, what you've done here is a personal attack. What I did was not. What I did do, however, is criticize how you post. You do realize the internet is forever, right? These posts that you have made will be here for as long as mt.net exists. Think before you post. Write like an intelligent, articulate person if you wish to be treated like one.
