Default Engine Damper

I was considering getting the FM exhaust brace, to relieve some stress from the turbo/manifold bolts and it got me thinking about engine dampers.

What's your guys' opinion on these? Seems like it would be effective, just not sure how effective after upgraded engine mounts.

Ive had em before competition mounts... it worked well, but nothing compared to competition mounts... great for someone who doesnt want to or doesnt have the means to raise the engine.

Idk about the dampers, but I used hockey pucks for motor mounts when I swapped the 1.8 in. My old mounts were shot, with the new one the engine doesn't even move as much as the video with dampers. Between the pucks and full delrin diff mounts the car is much more responsive, I do have some vibration but nothing real horrible and it doesn't affect my gauges any.

with MMR motor mounts my oil and coolant gauge be freaking out in certain rpm areas, worst areas are between 1k to 2k rpms.

I was afraid of that since that is what everyone says is what happens with stiff mounts but all gauges hold steady. Since my car is gutted anyway the vibrations don't bother me much, the majority happen at around 2k rpms. Before and after that its pretty smooth.
