I had the same problem. Cutting the frame rail lip is not enough to fit the WG with the Tial pressure source fitting on top. Since I don't have a welder my fix was to block off the top port and tap the side of the WG for a new port.
I guess the new slimmer Tial WG would work if its not V-band only.
