anyone familiar with the Garrett gt17 turbo? max cfm, psi, etc?

 

turbotim used two tiny turbos for his TT setup. Might have been 17s actually. Try a search for his setup, might shed some light.

 

Tim used GT15's

lawn mower turbo ftw.... because uk, my sr20 T25 was a bit too big for this tractor...





we would have loved a gt17 for that project! haha (btw the t25 DID spool, but only after we bypassed the governer.. and when it did it pulled like hell)

yes they are stupidly small turbos

 

they came stock on the Saab 9-5, so they can't be that small guys.

 

I have seen a turbo on those cars, the size of my hand MAYBE. Its way too small for anyhting useful.

 

well, I would just swap it in for auto-X days and I have a bigger t3 for more power.

I used two GT1544's on my TT setup, which is being replaced with two GT1548's. The original build thread on that setup was deleted by Philip. I have one good GT1544 left if anyone wants to attempt to turbo their lawn mower
