gt28rs vs 19T vs 16g: getting parts ready
279 whp / 270 wtq (on a Mustang dyno) boost peaks at 22 and then tapers to 20. I'm happy but I want 300's now and it isn't gonna happen with my lack of flow. My cast mani and 2.5" dp need to go. Soon as I get them replaced I'll be going back. I'm also going to need an intake manifold to cure the massive torque drop to red line. But I'm happy, the car is a blast to drive and it still has plenty more potential.
Depends on what you want really, this turbo on a similar setup 1.8 should put you well 300 at 20+ psi. Just look at Savington's numbers. Granted this is a china charger and may not be as efficient as a Garrett Im sure that if my motor was 1 .8 Id be over the 300 mark already.

I really have no clue, but I wouldn't mind trying.

That is the plan. Break in the motor and then head to Jerry at DIY. Hopefully their big project will be wrapped up by the time I'm ready. I think they said they would be close by the end of January last timed I asked about dyno time.
I need's an intake manifold.............

1.88 liter, ABSURDflow goodness, 2871R 52-trim .86 A/R, open exhaust, 21psi, stock intake manifold (chart was basically the same at 18psi, stock IM blows.)

Hello, just trying to learn something.
why the torque drops so much here? I'm not familiar with MX5, just looking at the dynos.
The turbo doesn't seem small, the housing is .86 which sounds big, and still falls in that way.
