Ok I've been trying this **** for like 3 hours.I feel like tossing in the towel....there is barely any room at all if any to run the ic piping within the engine bay, wit the ac and ps its so freakin crowded.....how the hell do you guys route your ic pipes , the only room I see is in front of the engine...maybe I need to remove the dust pan,ps,ac all toghether to get anywhere, any of you have pics of this, I know I've been a real bother but Im seriously almost done this Is my only prob right now

I'm new at it too, and there's not a lot of space. BEGi's kit (what I just got) runs down by the alternator pulley and then around the outside of the sway bar mount. on the other side it does a similar thing only it comes through just in front of the control arm bolt and heads up next to the power steering pump (if you have one)

Rican.. I am building the same setup as you. Please post a picture of your setup and I will show you how I did mine. Basically, in short, you will probably have to clock the turbo. It makes it VERY easy to run the pipes.

running out of clearence for increased steering angle? (Que)

- I'll end up removing the damn ps In short order, Im hesitant About removing the ac with summer comming around the corner.
-I could clock the turbo so it points downward but then again I'll have no way to mount the wastegate.

You can solve the wastegate mounting problem with a drill and tap.

Rican.. you HAVE to clock the turbo downwards and tap into the compressor housing using a tap set to mount the wastegate. I will get a camera and post pics as I did this yesterday. I am finishing my install today.

youre welcome:

IMHO, it's more effort than it's worth. im telling you to route it like Brad is doing. he's using stripes pipes, and the only thing he has to do is lower one pipe. it lines right up.

although, if you have P/S it may be in the way.

or, buy the outlet adapter, and clamp a 2" 90* bend on it. (ill freaking send you one i never used) And do it like mine, next to the P/S

that was my original plan but at the time it was more cost effective to keep my 2 core auto rad and go with the extra pipe.

hows the civic radiator working for you? you do any extra ductwork to manage the air?
