Did some of you as ever see a divorced downpipe that the small section doesn't joint the big one and just go at the bottom of the car. That could help my 2.5 downpipe, no?

of course a real ecu would help. and i would look into porting the turbine housing and manifold outlet.
Well phil he has essentialy your setup with a modified turbo and DP, Given the choice of hacking and modding, your setup, for a 1k dollar turbo and making it work or buying a off the shelf solution via Begi or absurdflow etc. A divorced DP will only help you with boost creep etc, and maybe throw abit of a midrange bump in torque. It is admirable what you have done with your setup though I believe you are at the limits.

new dyno results coming this saturday. but it's easy to say ditch everything you have and buy all new stuff when it's not your wallet.

Im just saying if he is not happy with his current setup and wants that much more power the new platform would be more effecient. But hell im still pulling for you to make 400 whp on yours phill.

Yeah definitely lose the wing and rims...you may have good numbers but no one will take that car seriously looking like that.

It is commonly referred to as an open wastegate. They sound a bit raucous (in a bad way), but it would reduce the volume of gasses that you are currently trying to force through the 2.5 inch pipe and probably easily net you several horses. Maybe a dozen or two more if it is really holding you back. An alternative to leaving the wastegate pipe wide open is to go ahead and put a secondary pipe and muffler arrangement on it. Make sure the wastegate muffler is not a restrictive one and you will be OK.

A friend of mine (non-Miata) is currently running a 4 inch exhaust with mufflers and a separate 2 inch exhaust with muffler for the wastegate. The two never meet. He's running about 800whp now (awaiting re-dynoing now that the exhaust has been completed). So yes, it can be done.

I'd probably start by getting a better manifold with better turbo choices and the a MS... From there, for the love of god, man, buy a set of rods. Even the cheap-o 300-400 set of rods will save you a lot more money in the long run. unless you LIKE to blow up motors. Has anyone mentioned that he's going to blow something up? Seriously?

The piston's should be OK, but the rods are the scary part. Even Bp's get sketchy past 260ish.
