Default I got the ebay F1 Stage 3 clutch in!

Got the stage 3 in. I have put about 15 miles on it so far, and I am impressed. Its really alot nicer than I would have thought. slightly heavyer pedal and slightly more initial grab with alittle shudder, but it is farly easy to drive. And this is with a 8lb flywheel.

It holds my 10 psi fine.. no sliping or anything. Also, for the first drive it seemed to slip a little (had to wear off any oils/etc that was on the disc I would assume), but now it holds very well

Assumeing it lastes a while, the F1 clutch is definetly worth the $150 I paid. The build quality was great, and now I see no need to get a $350 ACT clutch.

I take it you decided not to break it in easy.

carbon ceramic disk. From ACT:

ACT race discs (aka their carbon ceramic/carbon ones) usually only require a few hard slips to lap in the surfaces prior to normal driving or racing. Do not overheat the clutch during the break in period.

F1 says up to 300 hp, and it holds great at my 190 200 ish.

It slips at 240 whp range. Mine was pretty worn after 12K or so miles but i never broke it in gentle like and, i was slipping the **** out of it at the higher psi ranges. It had about 1/4 or so of the friction material left before i was down to the wear indicators.

not bad for an OEM PP and 6-puck disc. If it starts to slip, buy a $100 PP from clutchnet, yellow or red, and you'll be fine.

Im running the XTD stage 3, looks about the same, mine was 180 shipped,
the chatter/shudder(i guess you could call it) is getting ridiculous, pedal feel is SOFTER that stock, irritatingly so . . but BOY does it grab, squeal 2nd-3rd shifts, no problem
my $.02

Guys who are complaining about chatter/sputter check your motor mounts. I had no idea my motor mounts were bad until I put my F1 clutch in. After changing my mounts last week to the comp mounts I would say about 90% of the chatter is gone.

LOL, when ACT used to come over to test clutch material, they didn't do **** for a break in... started abusing the hell out of the clutches right out of the box. It was pretty impressive actually. I was pretty amazed at the abuse they would withstand.
