Intake Manifold Design Question
thats my inlet.. its the second one we build for the miata using that layout..
the design originates from grB rally etc.. very nice flow, very even distrubution of air.. and quite compact..
here's a pic of the setup with the old manifold.. same idea, just not as nice finish, and a smaller stock throttlebody instead of the 70mm ..

comparison of new/old

inside of the new manifold..

lenghts , volume etc etc, have been calculated for my setup, turbosize, cams +++ .. ive had help dooing this.. worked great on the last one.. should work this time too..

hf - Do you happen to have any more pics of your setup? I'm going to be converting to a bottom mount manifold similar to yours and trying to lay it all out in my head. I'm also running a T3/T4 with a Tial. A few pics would certainly help me. You can pm me if you would rather just send them to an email addy.
Looking damn good btw!

Oh wow!!! Any additional pics of the new intake manifold? That is sex!!! Also, what did you use to calculate the needed volume and such? Thanks for joining in the discussion!
short speclist.. (added a few more pics in the previous post)
1883cc , miataroadster billet oilpump, fully balanced lower end, carrillo rods, wiseco pistons, fully ported++ head, maruha motors cams, HF design coolant reroute, homemade 321 ss exhaust manifold, 3" exhaust, gt3076r turbo, twin 25row oil coolers and the custom inlet..
all controlled by a autronic sm4 ecu, running chevy LS2 coils for spark. car is buildt as a trackday monster, but is still streetable, kinda..
lots and lots of other mods on the car.

hope you guys like it

very nice manifold, i like the design, my next one may be similar, your engine setup is not far off from mine, i think i have more head work, im running a gt3071r, integral cams R3 in and R1 ex,

NICE!! Along with everyone else I would love to hear as much as possible about your set-up!
