It means you need to install that bitch on the car, show us some dyno numbers, and then start packing on the miles so we can get a reliability report out of you.

looks good. well see how it performs. with all these people switching over to chinachargers, through trial and error we might just find a company out there that makes decent quality ones......this is promising

 

Seeing one apart makes me even more sure of going Chinese built. Only thing that makes me slightly uncomfortable is the fact I see no visible marks from balancing, if they in fact did balance anything. Maybe their engineering is that precise...

Or is that signs of balancing on the compressor wheel nut, or edge of the wheel, can't tell.

 

Yes, journal wet float. What ever that means.

yeah i dont see any signs of balancing...

generally its done on the "nut" of the turbine end

 

all the same. a small brass sleeve with holes in for oil to pass through.






I do love how the measurements don't even come close to the auction however

enjoy the T2871.

 

The lack of evidence that the rotating assembly was balanced concerns me.....I would send it out to a place that rebuilds turbos just to get the CHRA balanced.

 

The balancing on my stock sr20 t25s were done on the back side of the wheels... i believe the compressor side. One had a lot of balancing, the other just had one tiny tiny little machining. U might want to just mark the orientation, and take appart the CHRA to check for balancing, then re-install in the same orientation (assuming its balanced).

I would still think about getting it balanced as mentioned by others.

 

Balancing is overrated.

Your datalog is lean in boost, looks like it's making more power. how do like the spool difference?

 

Sorry, lol. Fuel is ok, MLV and MS read leaner then the dash top AEM gauge does the richer it gets.

To be honest I really didn't notice a whole lot difference in spool. It looks like it spools slower on the log but it dosent feel a whole lot different. Needs more boost.

Oh, I wanted to ask. What injectors does Newbsauce run and what were his DC's at 17 psi. I'm already seeing 72% at 11 psi on my 550's and walbro 190.
