Default NA1.6 Stock internals... advice please!

Right,

I've looked into turbo'ing my old 1.8 but that didn't happen for various reasons. I've now got a 1.6 NA, it's currently on ITBs with an aftermarket ECU and it's great other than lacking in any form of punch...

I've got a head with some uprated camshafts going onto it's current bottom end in hope of gaining some more power, I've got SUBs and verniers of course but with these cam specs I'm well aware that I'm going to need a low back pressure turbo setup. Cam specs are:
The specs of the cams are:
- intake: 277@0.1mm/243@1.0mm/12.01mm/[email protected]/vc 0.250mm
- exhaust: 269@0.1mm/235@1.0mm/11.51mm/[email protected]/vc 0.250mm

So...

I'm planning on keeping the stock bottom end initially, but will build a forged bottom probably for next year - what turbo would people advise based on this?

If you have to ask, you haven't done enough research.

Dan,

I found the following site useful for comparing the suitability of different turbos.
In my experience the td04-13t is a good match for 1.6 cars.
Squirrel Performance

Excellent work with your ECU btw
How is the knock control feature working out?

I'd advise a 1.8 swap before you go and do something stupid, like spend money on 1.6 turbo parts.

My pleasure.

That might be my other fast time plaque in the box in the last picture.

1:55.0 at Thunderhill
Don't remember Buttonwillow or Fernly or any other track I've raced on and Mylaps is gay now and I can't look my stuff up.

That was a hell of follow through...

...Yet still stands the question: How much of all of it can someone run on a 1.6 with none of it?
