Intercooler Routing
I posted over on m.net but i'll toss it up here too. Has anyone had their out port facing up and still routed to their IC? if so please post pics of the route you took. I think it's possible to sneak some 2" through in front of the A/C or near the DP but it'll be tight. I know i can reclock the turbo i have a garrett 2560... but I'm trying to avoid extra labor. thought please!

I'm almost done with my diy intercooler and then i'll post up my writeup with pictures but before i do i have one last thing to address. In joe's write up he brazed a bronze fitting to his aluminum for his bov and his idle bypass port and both of them broke. Joe then gave up and used some steel and welded a solution up. Anyone else have reliable success tapping into aluminum pipe for bov/bypass valve? if so what kind of fitting did you use and what materials did you use? if brazed what kind of filler material was used?
Also i'd like to say thanks a lot guys I know diy intercoolers get beat to death on the forum and half of you who read it initially just hit the back button. I searched the m.net first and couldn't find squat so then i posted there and here and didn't bother searching these forums since i already did m.net. that was a huge mistake because there were TONS of threads that i found very helpful after i found the search button.

thanks but i'm more interested with the pipe going into the TB and putting a bypass on it. I've heard of people plugging the bypass or putting a filter on it but i'd like to run it back in.
