I'm working on it. The old threads were M8-1.25 and they were stripped out pretty bad. So I drilled them out and taped it 3/8-16. Then put some high strength red lock-tite on some grade 5 bolts and torqued them into the new threads. Let it cure for a day. Then used a hacksaw to cut the bolts off. Then a file to get them flat. Now I got all metal again.
C-clamped a T3 flange to the manifold, then used a drill bit to transfer center marks (need a set of transfer punches...). Picked the one that would be the hardest and did it first. Drilled 1/8, something bigger, then 5/16. Then taped it... Sucks tapping cast iron/grade 5 bolt. Dissimilar metals FTL. Hard and slow, but it's working. Gotta get some thread cutting oil before I do the others. STP oil helped, but ain't the same by any means.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's gonna work. Bought a damn set of Craftsmen taps and they're ****. Things don't have a center mark on top to steady the tap with a center. Ended up taping the first hole slightly crooked as I was eye balling it. Got another hole drilled, but I'm gonna have to buy a real tap before I do another. I want it right.

Finished the holes for the turbo to bolt up. Cutting fluid FTW. And changed to bolts. I drilled the heads of the bolts so I can wire them together. My bolts will NOT back out. Will drill and wire the downpipe bolts too. Now I'm starting on adding a wastegate port.
Tim- Looks good, and glad to hear.

This down pipe is gonna be a BITCH. ****. Started building one and it ain't gonna work. Gotta start over on that. Oh well, I'll get it. Probably gonna have the waste gate dump back in pretty soon for simplicity over performance. Just want it done at this point. I utterly HATE doing anything with exhaust.
