From what I recall from the MR2OC discussions on single vs. twin scroll in days gone by. A twin scroll GT3076 (ATP sells one) spooled as fast as a GT3071, but made more power up top. There are many discussions on MR2OC about which is better still to the day (mostly because the MR2's stock manifold is setup for twin scroll to start with).

"Moar details? What turbo? What car/engine?"

It will be on the engine and car in my sig.

I will put a pic up when it is done. Beside that, no more info.

If you have a motor that does nothing but run 8000+rpm at full load, then there is no benefit (and probably a SLIGHT downside) to twinscroll.

If your motor has to, you know, do other things, like drive you to work, around a road course, autocross course, to Hustler's mom's house, etc. then the twin-scroll will very likely outperform the single scroll in every way.

Guess I'll hold off on a turbo upgrade until we get more info here, I would love a twinscroll 3071 or 3076 and an AF manifold with 11 cranes..

I've been thinking, I don't suppose you could do a log manifold divided for twin scroll? Something that will sit where my existing setup is.. Any thoughts Tim?

Sav- That is exactly why I am looking into a twin scroll. Personally, I am all over the rpm band. Especially while doing a tandem run. You need response/torque all over the power band. Especially when you are running agains 500hp/tq+ Lsx and sprint car engines all of the time.
It may appear that my car is simply tached out all the time, and it is when it can be, but there is a huge amount of throttle modulation going on on all the time.
I hope this project gets started and is tuned before the end of may. If I dont like it, I will sell it for a nice price here
