What's happening in this thread? An electric oil pump? I'm totally down if it'll fit a 1.8 NA.

Steps:

1. Get oil gear - done
2. Loki sits on his fat *** for 2 months doing nothing - done
3. Gets gears scanned
4. Uses points from the scan to recreated the profile
5. Take model to machinist get cost estimate.
6. Choose material
7. Gather money
8. Install prototype.
9. Sell the design to FM for 40 gabillion dollars...

Or get a group buy together.

3ish. I have a good scanner at work i just found out about. I just need to clean the gears and get 10 minutes to walk the 15 feet and get it done. My friend who is going to do the modeling is coming over saturday for the autshow. Between the show and a party that night i am going to make him do some work.

loki, how much longer are we looking at to get these things completed?

I'm really itching to do the swap and install next weekend, so I've been thinking about just running my stock 9.5:1 bottom end, then doing the engine build in a couple years. I have everything but these gears, track season in 2 weeks away, and I'm probably going out of town again for 3 months, in 3 weeks. I want to build this ******, bad.

I would not expect em that quickly. We didn't get a chance to model em this weekend.
