For a few years volvo ran a td05 12b in their cars (either 740 or 940 cant remember) with an exhaust housing that had a T3 flange on it. If you want to do research it may be possible to use that housing with a better tdo5 turbo. Depends on the specs of the exhaust wheels.

Usually people that build a turbo setup around a turbo never finish it unless its a giant turbo that needs a custom setup.

I ran a 14b for about 2 years. I had a custom manifold made by zipstips to copy the cheap ebay manifold. The 14b Will get you going but I highly recommend upgrading to the 16g. It spools exactly the same but packs a much bigger punch.

Do you have an upgraded turbo from this company? BNR Supercars - Bryan Nickell's Rotary Supercars - Mazdaspeed Miata

Or did you work all of this out yourself? If that's the case, please explain

I got my inspiration from his work, but actually built the whole thing myself.
I have a complete write up that's actually pretty much finished. I just haven't posted it yet.
