plug and play 440cc and 550cc injectors
dear all,
I did my best with the "search" function, but I need a confirmation from some injectors expert:
are these high impedance 440cc plug and play injectors?
Automotive Parts Network - Auto Parts :: Fuel Injectors :: PARTS :: Premium Remanufactured Fuel Injector - iNeedParts.com
(stock on 1989-1992 aspirated RX-7)
and are these high impedance 550cc plug and play injectors?
Automotive Parts Network - Auto Parts :: Fuel Injectors :: PARTS :: Premium Remanufactured Fuel Injector - iNeedParts.com
(stock on 1989-1992 turbo RX-7)
I'm asking because I'm pretty sure of it, according the plug and play lists I found on this site, but the seller says I'm wrong about flowrate... (maybe a different fuel pressure?).
I hope this thread will not be banned because of the links, it's just for reference...
by the way: if I want to use the smallest injectors possible for a 12psi boost on my 1.8l engine, do you agree the 440cc's are enough? the reason why I want to go with the smallest possible is that I believe they will make idling tuning easier, being them high-impedance i.e. worse in this respect.
thanks a lot.

don't the internet links in my thread work on your PC?
I tried them and they take me to the actual injectors I mean, picture included, anyway they are codes 14899 (supposed 440cc) and 14900 (supposed 550cc) on Automotive Parts Network - iNeedParts.com
thanks

Humble, moderately educated noob. I like.
The 440s will do exactly what you want them to do. I can't see from the link whether they are low-imp or high-imp, though. Call them up and ask; they should know.

now if you would help me further...
1) what is a noob (I guess I know...),
2) do you mean that 440cc is a correct flowrate for my application, or that THOSE injectors mentioned in my link ARE ACTUALLY 440cc, and they will work?
sorry for looking (and partly being) silly, I would feel better in italian but I don't believe that is an option!
ciao
I meant that 440cc is a good flowrate for your application. I can't tell whether those injectors will work because I don't know whether they are high-imp or low-imp.
my understanding is they are high impedance, as there is no argument with the seller on this; just they say they are a different flowrate (600cc for the "aspirated" ones!!!).
by the way, again: I know I am a noob but I don't know if I should be proud of it...
ciao

Let me rephrase:

you're looking for these:

the first two share the same part number with the low-ohm version and are not plug and play.
FWIW FM recommend High Imp 550's for similar power applications. The RX-7 550's are pnp and can be picked up relatively cheaply. I have the 550's fueling 6 psi in my 1.6 - duty cycle is a mere 23% at peak boost amd torque. The 550's will give you more headroom, obviously.
ok, now it's clear even to me.
I will look for 195500-2010 code because I'm confident they will not be maxed out and make me feel a bit more comfortable with idling issues.
thanks alla for your help,
ciao

It's all there and more in the faq's
ok, now please just one more help for me: for some reason I cannot work it out with people at ineedparts.com, can you please advice on where to buy the 460cc's (maybe on private mail...).
thanks again.
thanks again.
some of us have picked up ours here RX7Club.com - Powered by vBulletin just set up a user account and post a want to buy ad for s5 89-92 non-turbo injectors.
OK, but if it is sure that the naturally aspirated 89-92 RX-7 injectors will work for me, I can just buy them at Ineedparts, right?
after all if they are OEM remanufactured injectors, they must work, no matter what they say about flowrate, right?
thanks
