Yes. The displacement and head flow only effects the amount of boost you'll have to run to hit the max flow of the turbo. And you're forgetting the extra ~25hp of drivetrain loss a subaru has over a miata at ~250whp.

 

Let me see if I understand right,

Most of you think that max wbhp I can get with 98RON pump fuel and 2.5" pipe would be around 220-230, for 250 I would need a little bigger turbo.

Right ?

Now I'm at 195wbhp on 95RON pump fuel and stock pipe using TD04H-13C turbo.

the 16T would be better as it is bigger, I believe it can bring the BP to 250+wbhp
