I can't get the turbine housing off!!!

I can't get the turbine housing off!!!
So, I've been at this all evening. My "new" DSM 2G T25 is a beaut! The compressor housing and wheel came off easy.
But the turbine housing will not pop off.
I removed all the bolts and the c-clamp things.
I soaked it in Liquid Wrench for a couple hours.
I tried heating it with a torch. (perhaps not hot enough?)
I tried a 3lb sledge and the vice.
I tried a pipe-wrench and the vice.
I tried a few more things I don't want to talk about.
I haven't hurt it in any way yet, and I don't even need the turbine housing. I just need the CHRA and the wheel.
What's the trick with this damn thing. On my other T25, it just popped off with a smack from a ball-peen hammer.

well they can get pretty rusted on there. Best thing I found to do is take a chisel and pry apart the housing with that. Dont be afraid to smack that chisel in there, just be careful not to ruin anything. Your turbo might be a bit different though, my turbine housing is held on by 4 6mm bolts, but yours is a c-clamp style so you might just have to soak it and let it sit overnight and try it again in the morning when the stuff has penetrated that rust a little more.

Try using PB plaster instead of Liquid Wrench to eat at the rust.
Could you bolt a slide hammer to the turbine outlet and clamp the center section in a vise? Slide hammers rule
Or what about an air hammer with a flat bit? You could rattle at it aroudn the edges. Air Hammers Rule as well

2nd. /\ It's great stuff, but I must say I repeatedly soaked my turbo (4 days) to no avail.

I am keeping the compressor housing. I'm connecting it to the standard T25 turbine housing I already have.
The post in that other thread may be exactly what I needed.
So, tomorrow after work, go over to Harbor Freight and buy a torch, and a small snap-ring pliers because the one I've got is too big, and a slide hammer. Also a can of PB blaster... PepBoys for that?... soak another night, heat thoroughly, and BANG! It should come off.

Well, after soaking overnight in Liquid Wrench, I took a couple whacks with the sledge... missed... and now cracked off part of the baseplate on the compressor side. Scratch one CHRA. It's useless. So now I need to buy yet another turbo... but this one only needs a good CHRA, so I can buy pretty much any T25 of any kind. Back to scouring forum classifieds. DAMN!!!
So, my local Harbor Freight doesn't sell torches, but I think Pep Boys should, and as I've gotta go there anyways, might as well.
But while I was at Harbor Freight, I did pick up a set of lock-ring pliers, a 1/2drive Torque Wrench, and a 100pc set of Security Bits (so now I can open the cable box on the outside of the house and replace the frayed line coming out of it without having to schedule a DAMN APPOINTMENT!!!)

ONLY $800... THAT'S ALL? ****, I'LL TAKE 2!!!
So far I've spent $50, $70, and just bought another one for $40 shipped to my door. The first one I got my money back for, the second one I broke, and the third one I'll be sure not to break. Then I can sell the leftover parts, perhaps the compressor housing to UofCats and make some money back... so including the rebuild kit I bought for $75, I'll have a turbo that will last me forever for $185, minus what I can sell a couple leftover pieces for. I'll buy 10 more used turbos before I'll buy a new one.
I've got some new tactics to try on this thing tonight, I'll let y'all know what ends up happening. At least I don't have to be gentle now!

DAMN, between lunch and getting home, no time for Torch buying. It's gotta be tomorrow. And timing couldn't be better for our first Nor'Easter here in Virginia, I'll be stuck in the garage all day anyways. I'll let y'all know what technique finally gets this bitch off...

Affirm. I've done my homework and think I know what to look for. I've got a perfect T2inlet/5bolt outlet turbine housing from the first turbo I bought that showed up busted.
The compressor housing and9psi stock wastegate from the second turbo are perfect. I've got an almost perfect rotating assembly inside the the current turbo that I busted the CHRA on. I've also got 2 water lines.
Just yesterday, I bought two more 2g DSM T25's. One of them shipped today from PA, and the other will ship Mon from Texas. The both should have good rotating assemblies and one comes w/a stock wastegate. So, after taking them all apart, I'll pick the best wheels of all, and the best CHRA of the two coming. Then I'll do the rebuild exactly as here:

...and with full synthetic oil changes every 2500miles I should have a turbo that will outlast the motor for sure... and probably the motor after that. Then I'll see if anybody around here needs the extra CHRA, 3 turbine housings, 3 compressor housings, and 2 full wheel assemblies... and make a little money back. I'm pretty sure UofCats is down for a compressor housing cheap.
All four of these turbo's (even the first one which is a long story) were taken off running cars. The PO's said "burned oil" at high RPM's, and "minimal shaft play". Perfect candidates for rebuilds.

As it turns out, the problem was that none of us (except UofCats but he doesn't count because he's a Zonie) were old enough to solve this problem. We needed someone even older than Olderguy. We needed my Dad.
Me: "Dad, I can't get this damn thing off."
Dad: "Tell me about it."
Me: I proceed to tell.
Dad: "Throw it in the freezer for an hour. Hit is with a torch for five mintues. Give one solid whack with the beater. Call me back in an hour and six minutes." Click.
My Dad!
Notice the cracked off chunk on the bottom of the CHRA. I'd be rebuilt and done with this thing if I'd called my Dad Thursday instead of asking you guys.(except UofCats) I love the new smilies!!!!
