Anyone jump on one of these yet? I was originally looking to run a GT2560R, but now I'm leaning a lot more towards a 22-350 to pair with my Kraken kit.

Run the GBC it's probably gonna outperform the 2560 but be very similar in that it will support 300whp.

Garrett's lineup is too confusing to follow anymore.

Is it though? Seems pretty easy to follow to me.

What were the results here? Real curious to see how it stacked up against the 2560.

Thanks!

They’re journal bearing. Seems a bit pointless to me. GTX2860G2 is an excellent match for the 1.8 and it has the response of a dual ball bearing turbo. This would be a slower spooling, lower hp turbo than the GTX2860

Check out Pulsar Turbos. They have a great lineup and they stack up realllllly close to Garrett turbos for half the price. $900 will get you a G25-550 and $700 will get you a GTX2860 Gen 2. This GBC thing is gonna be more hype than performance. Journal bearing with a Gen 2 wheel and maybe a better flowing turbine wheel. Don’t expect great things. It’ll probably spool slower than the 2560 and make a little more power

I saw SPS Motorsports, out of Germany, is offering turbo kits with the GBC turbos (20-300 and 22-350). Still haven't seen any dynos or back to back comparisons of them, though.
