Well an oil drain line won't even see pressure (more than a couple psi of crankcase pressure if not well vented). So pushloc would be just fine for this situation.

Thanks for all the suggestions, especially the ones with links. After thinking about it a bit more a decision has been reached. Ordering a 1/2npt tap and drill bit and moving the drain location.

A few reasons why
- Already have the fittings and hose
- Finally bought the vice jaws for making AN hose building easier and I'm going use them damnit
- Easier to remove/reinstall for maintenance
- Slightly better reliability. Track reliability is very important

I have zero issues running push lock hose and fittings for an oil drain, except for the fittings being to big of course. For funsies I tried ripping the old drain off using a pair of vice grips on the hose with the fitting clamped in a vice. It did not budge. I'd have to look at order receipts to be sure, but I believe the fitting and hose are both Aeroquip. Quality, matching, components are key to a successful push lock installation.

Sliced the old push lock hose off it's fitting so I could compare it with a forged reusable. Both are AN10 45*

New drain line installed, once the RTV sets up I'll check for leaks.
