Best clutch (bang for buck)
So I did some research and ran a little "poll" so to say, about what clutches people use in their miatas and what seems to hold up the best. From what I came up with it looks like the ACT Extreme is the winner, as far as a good complete kit that takes pretty much whatever you can throw at it. My 99 is going to need a clutch very very soon, and should I spend $525 once and get a good clutch, or is their anything else out their that seems bulletproof for less money and anybody recommends?

It depends on your power goals.
People have been happy with 200rwhp with ebay F1 stage 3 clutches. I'm planning on going past that and, rather than worry about whether or not it'll hold, I just called ClutchNet and asked them for something that I can expect to hold up. It cost more than the ebay clutches, yes, but I can be confident that I'll only have to do the job once this way.
You should call ClutchNet and talk to Igor about what you want. As of Monday they were still honoring the MiataTurbo.net group buy pricing.

a clutchnet kit will be pretty much a replica of an ACT unit only cheaper.
you want an ACT XT, then get a Clutchnet RED 3X with whatever disc you choose, Street or 6-puck.
If you want an ACT HD equivalent, get a Red 2x with whatever disc...

If you want an ACT check out carolinaclutch.com for a great price. I'm not sure what cluch that $525 is for, but you could probably get a better price at CarolinaClutch. Or do what Brain and Delivator suggest and go Clutchnet. I have an ACTXT in 1.6 size and have no regrets. Of course I'm not boosted yet, but I don't anticipate any issues.
