I'd hope so, after all you're running his ecu too

After i get the IC installed, i'll tune it up again. What should i be running it as? MS or VE? Is there a issue with simply clicking the use of VE on the analogue cals/ tuning modes or will i need to add and subtract stuff around?

you can't just click ve. You'll have to put everything at 80-90% and retune it all.

Not to menition you will need to update your firmware to something recent, have the right version of Wari to go with the FW and then just use the map I posted.

Well i shut off the map prediction and what do you know my idle is now stable and i can rev up my engine bit by bit without it jumping around. Yes my <40 kPa are rich enough to keep me <12 a/f. Thats probably 1 of the reasons why my map looks weird.

Your background knock sensor level isn't set at all. So even if you car isn't knocking its going to pull timing especially from 4-5k rpm.

It was pulling it automatically so we lowered the timing a bit and a bit and finally stopped "pinging" at 18` I tried to convert ms to ve... its showing me crazy stuff

Did you hear it 'ping' or knock? Or are just relying on the knock sensor to tell you when its knocking? My point was that if you are relying on the sensor its lying to you because the sensor will always pick up some engine noise like 18psi said. The background level needs to be set using det cans.

Travis was saying that he heard and felt the car shake from the detonation.

Mostly just pointing it out. When VE came out, I just ditched my map and started fresh.

Well guys after learning adaptronic a bit better i decided to update this thread after working some kinks out cells by cells. That tune was... very bad. No **** it barely made 140whp. By bad i'm talking it would stay at 11.5 a/f, then it would jump to 13 500 rpm later, then back down to 12.5, then back up to 14. Basically as soon as i see it go above 12 a/f i let go and add some fuel then step on it again. I'm now officially afraid to let others tune my car.

Let me know how your basic tune goes at 10 degrees and how it runs because I had just recently purchased the same kit for my 96 miata. It should be shipped sometime this week from what Stephanie had told me. I'll be running the FMU non intercooled kit soon and need an idea on what would be best to set timing for street tune daily driven. I'm looking forward for new posts. Thanks!!!
