Torque doesn't hold too well after 5k. But still, solid numbers, especially for a dyno-dynamics. Your timing table is wild. I so gotta get me some 8.5:1 compression pistons. That's a good build and good tune for track duty. For damn sure.
No likey the 2860 spool? What RPM were you making, say, 12 psi at? It is hard to tell from that dyno plot picture.
would be schweet to see the datalog to go along with that pull
a lot of timing, not a lot of fuel, at least not much resolution in the fuel map. what is your REQ FUEL?

req fuel is 5.7 and i have a new walbro 255. I need to learn more about tuning, but I don't know where else to find the answers or theory to make this turbo spool-up faster and to keep the torque high after it spools. I don't know what to do now.
Way to go Hustler! The grass is always greener ... even though you are doubting your choice in turbo, it seems to me a great choice for what you want your car to be which of course is track **** and annihilator of snobby **** in expensive cars.

No doubt a 2560 would spool sooner (mine does 14psi at around 3300rpm now on the street at part throttle), but your 28 will not see much below 4k on track anyway and will run cooler at that. So you win on the track unless you forget to down shift
Something don't sound right. My turbo's bigger than yours and it's at 11 PSI by 3200 from a 4th gear pull. I suspect your WG isn't right personally. I'm guessing it's an internal WG?
It looks like his afrs are around 11.5 to 12.0 during spool. I have found running 13.5 14.1 during spoolup increases it alot. Also you need the most ve% at torque peak. After that you should tapper off ve% since your required fuel per cycle is less. That is why you are getting richer and richer on the big end and losing torque. That is unless you want that for safety.
I personally tune for good afr's then add timing. 12.0 at your boost level. One thing that adding fuel does is delay the beginning of the burn thus it is the same thing as retarding timing. I have found that running the correct afr and less timing makes more power than running rich and more timing. Very good baseline tuning. Let me know if I explained it properly i'm not a good explainer.

) at 11.6 or so. I was able to add 3-4 degrees of timing by reducing AFRs by 8/10ths of a point, and from what I've seen on other cars that 3-4 degrees of timing is worth 15-20whp.
