The gt2860rs "works" and stops overboosting after 13psi.
Lowered static compression "is beneficial" after 13psi or about 220whp (dynodynamics, higher on a dynojet).
You know, for a guy that uses a different user name on every forum, I'm surprised you're posting your actual name on every forum too. Just sayin'

Real eThugs don't blur out their name (or license plates) in pictures.

He's not scared man! He's not scared...get that through your thick skull before his boot does it for you.

Hahaha, been gone for a couple of months, and when i'm back, hustler has boost, and... in the beginning of this thread he had a good case of politeness with that. The last few posts make everything feel normal again though

Nice work, bet thats scary around a hairpin, much lag?

I forget, are you running a MS with EBC? If so, you can proportion the part-throttle EBC duty cycles so that the part-throttle boost build is modulated better. It would definitely help with oversteer when accelerating out of a corner IMO. Once you have the EBC tuned, this is easy to do, like 5 minutes in megatune.

I plan on hooking up EBC (w/tps duty) when the code is "fixed." I don't want to deal with the temp variance yet.

Hustler -

Congrats on the numbers.

I noticed on "that other forum" you've consigned yourself to a desk gig farther North in the Tejas Republic. Are you going to visit the Alamo City for S/S Mesh before you go, or are you going to channel your inner Bedouin and migrate from time to time?

thanks, the car is fun. I'm going to take the cat out, and dyno again with some more tuning. I've gained knowledge since the last session...and now I want to fine tune a few things after I get the COPs and tps in.

I forgot all about that. I may...not sure. I'm in Austin today, going to SA tomorrow for an auto-x, then houston next week, then Dallas for the weekend.

I'll have to try to set something up with you later; I'd love to take that mesh off your hands. As for the migratory pattern, I plan on running at Harris Hill a few times per year. I have to build some respect if I'm ever going to get a seat in a proper race car.

hustler, i still strongly suggest trying the .64 A/R turbine. Maybe you can find someone to loan you one for a dyno run. i dunno... like Corky or something.

I'm going to yank the cat out. I ran another auto-x today...I don't think I need a smaller housing, power deliver is fine.

they used "Speed density" for rpm on my car...I'll request real #'s next time.

Sure its the same turbo, and comparing my data log shows an identical spool-up :( rpm, but 30whp/40wtq more . I was really stressed out and tired last time I tuned the car. This time when i go back, it will be just be me and the car. Maybe I can play with spark and study the MAP logs on the dyno to make the best decision. You know, use the eddy control dyno for its intended purpose and do a ****-ton of load runs and fix these problems. Last time I put some fundemental basics in practice, now I've studied more, have a little experience with the tools, and will hopefully produce greater results. We need to tune up to 18psi too for the 6-speed swap.
