Default T3 Chinacharger at 13.5psi

Strapped on the dyno again. This time I put a little more boost into it; averaged 13.5psi. Run on a dyno dynamics dyno (PURPLE), so the below comparison has a 10% correction factor (# operator told me to compare dynojet with, runs his spec miatas on dynojets often and sees this drop). The RED line is MS-I, no cat, and my genuine Super 60 T3.

The only change in this setup is the MS-II unit (same spark map) and a metal core cat. The drop up top didn't happen before the cat, so the test pipe needs to go back in and possibly the old Super 60 as well, I miss that top end. But the mid definitely has more guts, and I do like that. I'm also lazy.

Looking good Mr. Brain. You know if you want some top end back, I bet a 50 trim t04e compressor mated to a stage 1 .48ar turbine would be a really neat combo. You would still have more low-end than I do, and you could get that top end back with a quickness .

Not too bad... I like how the torque curve seems to be fairly flat. *thumbsup*

yes. This was that pull compared to one I just did in Nov. Only difference here is MS-II and Convertor. I gotta assume the cat is what's dropping the torque off, that or the smaller compressor wheel is out of steam. (10% correction again here). soft cut limiter at 6700RPM as well...whoops.

but at 5200RPM im making more than 20rwhp owith just a pound more boost...that's always nice, could be the MS-II. Lars saw a lot of torque gains with his....his setup never changed but going to MS-III.

I would add a psi or two up top to keep the torque up. That would give you win/win with mid and upper end.

I daily drove my 1.6 at 17+ psi that way.

When's the next DE dyno day? Not to be a dick there Scott, but do you think I'll beat your numbers with my SR-20 t25 running the same boost as you were?

3" 300 cell metal core. there was also a soft cut limiter at 6700 that dropped my timing to 12*
