Default 1.6 Na miata turbo idles at 4k rpm

hey there, im helping my friend try to get his 92 1.6L running with a ebay turbo kit. we have the whole kit installed, a MS1, 440cc injectors from an rx-8. and the exhaust is dumping off the turbo through the roof. We have it just on a base map at the moment with no MAF sensor, and no afm. first issue we ran into was with the TPS (non VTPS), we replaced, and put it back in place. once we have the tps adjusted the car starts and holds its rpm at 4k right off the bat and doesnt show signs of coming down as the vehicle warms up. Any ideas on what could be wrong? im including a couple data logs aswell.

Did you ever figure it out? Having same issue with a buddies miata, we've tried tuning the iacv, unplugging the iacv in total, and it still revs and idles to 4k solid.
I wanted to assume vacuum leak somewhere but we've triple checked the intake manifold, intercooler piping, and even smoke tested it.
My FM turbo miata did the same thing, but tuning the iacv fixed it right away. This one is just weird.

I usually find idle to be more of a VE Table thing. Im not too sure how it works but when the idle cells are too lean it tends to make the car rev to a richer part of the ve table at least for me personally that was my case.

We ended up swapping out his IAC out with an old one I had laying around and it fixed it instantly. just a weird idea I had. Glad it worked though it was stuck open when we took a peak at it
