I have recently purchased the 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata can have almost completely rebuilt it I live in New York on Long Island and I'm looking for a tuner That can tune a megasquirt if you guys have any recommendations it would be greatly appreciated

also I have called ChipTorque in Australasia they have stated they can reflash the stock MSM ecu has anyone used there services before and what were your thoughts thanks

I believe that you mean "Australia", it's that large island continent between the Indian and Pacific oceans in the Southern hemisphere.

ChipTorque can extract more performance out of your existing hardware or provide custom tuning for different hardware.
You send them your ECU with details of your hardware configuration, they flash a custom tune for it on a chip which replaces the existing one and you simply plug it back in for more smiles.
BEGi used to be the agent for this in the US, don't know if the new companies provide something similar.

If you subsequently make any changes, such as a larger exhaust, CAI, etc., you'll need to repeat the process since it will screw up the custom tune.
Last time I checked, here in Australia they charged A$800 for the service so you should only do this once you have all the hardware performance "modz" you want (ie. do it once, not incrementally since that gets expensive).
If you contact them, you MAY be able to negotiate a cheaper price if they have existing custom tunes for your hardware (or find out what MSM custom tunes they already have and choose your hardware based on what they've already tuned).

With a CAI (eg AEM CAI), 2.5" exhaust and larger injectors you can expect to see 140-150rwhp which is great fun initially, ChipTorque has already done this for a lot of MSMs.
If you're not a tinkerer and believe that you'll be happy with this level of power and not want to make any subsequent performance modz, it's a great solution.

The cheapest bang-for-buck power modz on an MSM are a CAI (I recommend AEM or BEGi; FM mount theirs in the worst place of the three, not even sure if it receives any fresh/cold air) and a manual boost controller that allows 10-10.5 psi.
This will give you ~135rwkw which is a huge improvement over OEM performance and is what the car SHOULD have had from the factory.
Hardware modz after this (eg. larger exhaust, injectors) cannot be tolerated by the OEM ECU and you'll need a new flash chip or aftermarket ECU.

I'm a "tinkerer" and "MOAR POWA" addict so for me, MS3 is a much better choice.

The more research I do the more I think I want a megasquirt..... In NY we have 93 octane so I think 550cc injectors are gonna be fine
but my question is beside the ecu and the tuning cable what else do I need
map sensor
Knock sensor
barometric sensor
And where do I get these extra sensors
I want to do this right the frist time
Already have an afr aem

Your car has Knock Sensor and likely a baro available. But you likely don't need the baro. MS comes with the map sensor.

550's would be OK, but the go-to is Flow Force 640's. Each set is matched for great idle.

Read some build threads, and possibly the Megasquirt Manual.

Go to the Meet and Greet and talk about your goals for the car, and post up some pictures.
