Whats happening everyone?!
My name is Jerry and I'm going to be looking into a mazdaspeed miata very soon. I'll be somewhat new to the miata platform, but have owned a few FC's and a mazdaspeed protege that I miss very much. that being said im looking into a mazdaspeed miata in Lava Orange if i can find one, but ill be happy with any one that isn't red (I just don't like red cars). If I cannot find a mazdaspeed, I'll be looking into one so I can boost myself either turbo or SC.

If you really like the mazdaspeed and you don't plan on modifying it then go ahead and get a mazdaspeed. Many people here will tell you that a non-mazdaspeed is actually preferrable if you are looking to upgrade as many of the parts of the Mazdaspeed Miata will be removed anyhow, so why pay the premium. But I will say I like the mazdaspeed colors so do what you will.
What state are you living in?

If I can find a mazdaspeed, it will remain stock for the most part. Probably intake exhaust and larger fmic being the only mods. But if I go with a non mazdaspeed. Ill probably mod the **** out of it.

These are reasons you shouldn't get a Mazdaspeed. The stock ECU is garbage and ruins the car. If you aren't going to replace it, then don't buy one.
Or buy one anyways, don't replace the ECU, and hardpark.
Not all Mazdaspeeds are created equal. I'm lucky enough to have gotten one with a pretty smooth stock ECU. My friend bought one shortly after I did and the driveability on his stock ECU was much worse than mine. We have since both added pretty much all the bolt-ons to our cars, but he also added a Hydra ECU with a 550cc injectors and a dyno tune, while I am still on the stock ECU. Even though he "supposedly" has more power than me I can still beat him in a drag race and 9/10 times when we autocross. Am I a better driver? Most likely... But there was always a definite difference in the driveability of our cars when we were both on the stock ECU.
I wish you good luck on your quest to find a Lava Orange car!
