Default Knock sensor sensitivity...outside noise?

Quick question- I finally have my new engine in and finally got around to plugging in the lappytoppy to check vitals while crusing around. I noticed knock voltage reading at idle and light cruise dithering between .02 and .06 (a couple jumps to .1 at idle). I don't remember having seen any such dithering on previous logging/monitoring before I replaced the engine.

However, I do know that I need to check and adjust the valves as they sound a bit like a NA 1.8 that's been run a bit hard. Is it possible that that valve train noise is being picked up by the knock sensor?

Lastly- I have a bit of a clearance issue with the exhaust somewhere under the car, could the vibrations, if at the right frequency, be picked up by the knock sensor?

Remove the brace, adjust the valves.

See if the knock goes away?

Ill get under the car tomorrow to adjust the exhaust.

Doubt the valves ticking would set it off. Its gotta be stronger than that IMO.
