Pull idle solenoid connector and idle goes UP?!

Pull idle solenoid connector and idle goes UP?!

Tuning a friend's 1.6 AEM.... I pulled the connector to the IAC and the idle went UP instead of down? Thoughts?

The 1.6L idle valve has a failsafe that does this. Normal, but annoying for troubleshooting purposes.
