Semi-related, but not "connector": I'm looking for some 20 AWG multi-conductor wire for a wideband install. 4- and 6-conductor, probably about 5' of each. Anyone know a cheap online source that sells by the foot?
They sell 18awg/4channel Gray Stranded CU CL3R Shielded Security Cable at home depot both on a spindle and by the foot. I've used this for wideband, and various sensors/leads for injection and spark. I might have some spare at home, I can double check if you want.
Why does it need to be a multiconductor...You can get TXL 20awg wire by foot.
Because it's the Easy Button compared to winding 4-6 single wires together and heatshrinking them (especially if they're all the same color)?

I need help figuring out which wire colours go where in the cruise control vacuum servo actuator, as I am installing cruise control in a car that has none of the wiring for it. The wiring diagram is straightforward enough, the one thing I am missing is the pinout for the connector to the vacuum servo actuator that sits in the engine compartment.
Here's what it's plug looks like:

Obviously none of the wiring colours match up (which is seemingly not too uncommon on either side of a connector because why not). The wiring diagram which has the harness colours says pink, blue, green/black and green/yellow. The wires on the little pigtail coming out of the servo are blue/orange, blue/yellow, blue/red and blue/black.
The one thing I've been able to deduce by measuring resistances across the various solenoids in it is that the pink one corresponds to the blue/orange one (as it is "in the middle" of any other pair of connections, common to all three solenoids). That pin is at top/left in the picture.
My car lacks A/C (another thing noone here got for their Miata when new), and has two empty connectors at the front-left of the engine compartment which seem to match the wiring diagram for condenser fan relay and A/C clutch relay. Both of these plugs physically fit the cruise control actuator, so I'll just cut one of them off and splice into my homemade cruise control wiring, but I of course still need to figure out which wire is which.
I'm hoping someone with a cruise-control-equipped NB can just take a peek and see what color wires in the wiring harness matches what in the servo actuator. Mine is a 2002, but I've looked wiring diagrams for a few model years it seems they're all the same.
Alternatively, if anyone has seen a wiring diagram with pin numbers for the cruise control servo plug and either of the AC ones, I would be able to match them up that way. All the ones I have seen though only have wire colours and nothing else.

Yep, this here does the job. So, the mapping turns into (car harness -> actuator)
pink -> blue/orange
blue -> blue/red
gr/y -> blue/yellow
gr/b -> blue/black
Just wired the last bits of the cruise control in, and it works like a charm. My gauge cluster didn't have the cruise set indicator it though (no bulb, no traces on the circuit "board" around the hole, and just black plastic where the light would shine through), so I used the "HOLD" light for the automatic transmission instead. As in "hold speed", or something.
Name that part number. This is a connector I need to mate my 91 inj/clt harness plug with my 01 inj/clt pigtail for my vvt swap. It's also the same plug they use on the harness to connect to the plug on NA headlight motors. I would take my headlight motor plug off my own harness, but scca rules say headlights have to work too, and no cutting of harnesses etc. Anyways it appears to be an AMP 6 position female, but I didn't see it on Ballenger motorsports or any other connector source YET. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I doubt I'll be the last scca member to get vvt swap info from this site so this should be some valuable info to add to this list.

Plan B is to cut the OEM IAT plug off, crimp a GT150 connector on the loom, then use that for both the GM IAT and for an adapter loom for the OEM IAT if I ever need to revert to stock.
Does anyone know what connector the NB VSS uses? I just installed a NB VSS into my NA to wire to MS but was thinking I might try to use the stock connector instead of rewiring it for no good reason.

Found the solution to my issue. The stock IAT connector is a Yazaki 7283-1224-10, and AutoClick UK sells a mating connector for that (LINK). Ordered, eager to see if it actually fits.
BTW this will be used for an adapter harness for a VW IAT (Bosch 06B905379D), whose mating sensor is 1J0 973 702 in case anyone wonders.

Bump to say that NA headlamp motor (and '91 injector harness) plug and socket seem to be these:
PS Does anyone know where to find the little accessory clips which snap on to some of these plugs and allow them to be fixed to brackets on the car? I don't know if they're different for each brand or some kind of universal fit. I don't even know what to call them.
