Is it possible that they're the wrong pins? I know I ended up with sumitomo pins from you guys (ballenger), eastern beaver, and new united. The new united pins came still connected to the metal terminal strip. I'm trying to think of what ones I used on these connectors, I know I got them from you guys. You know what. My coil harness in this car started as a 94 coil harness and I de-pinned the 4 position sumitomo connectors that fit the 94 coils and replaced them with the 3 position (both DL series) that fit all the 95.5 and up coils. So I probably just stretched em out with my de-pinning tool.

General updates: TPS connectors should be in soon. Cam connectors should be in soon. Injector connectors (you can actually use the denso ones we list now, CONN-11655 but with different terminals) will be coming in soon and we will list the Miata version and the more standard denso ones. VICS connectors should be in this fall.

For the cam connectors? You're going to have the connector, the terminals, the seals, and the terminal lock right? The pins for those dont lock in themselves for of **** and the terminal lock is basically required. I made the mistake of not ordering the locks when I got them from new united because I had no idea it was even required (because navigating their site sucks).

We never ended up finding the pin for the dash board connectors, did we Frank?
There's a number of indicator lights on there - unused, and if so, unpopulated (O/D off and ABS on my car) which I'd love to be able to light up.
Also, the schematics show a low fuel light, but I'm not sure where it is. There's a blacked out light above the water temp gauge which I suspect might be it? Its hard to ohm out since it's actually run by the signal from the fuel level sender, not a separate switch. Guess I wouldn't mind having the light if it's already there - would also make a handy shift light given it's proximity to the tach.

Not sure if it's somewhere in this thread or if I missed it, but the VVT valve fits 100% in the orange evap cannister connector on my 94 NA. Can't believe I spent months looking for the pigtail while I could've taken the OCV and tried every every connector under the hood.
Dumbest thing is, I even have a spare 94 harness which I didn't bother to try.

Under the hood, pax side near the shock tower. The big loom that's on a bracket has 2 connectors, one yellow and one orange. The latter has the offset ridge on the back that's an exact match for the oil control valve.
It's possibly the best location for that connector to be. If I had a motor in there, I could tell if the loom stretches enough to reach the motor when mounted. This would save you a lot of hassle when swapping the VVT motor into an NA chassis. The only splicing you'd have to do would be CMP and CKP sensors.

Name that part number. This is a connector I need to mate my 91 inj/clt harness plug with my 01 inj/clt pigtail for my vvt swap. It's also the same plug they use on the harness to connect to the plug on NA headlight motors. I would take my headlight motor plug off my own harness, but scca rules say headlights have to work too, and no cutting of harnesses etc. Anyways it appears to be an AMP 6 position female, but I didn't see it on Ballenger motorsports or any other connector source YET. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I doubt I'll be the last scca member to get vvt swap info from this site so this should be some valuable info to add to this list.

More Mazda Miata Connectors added here by request.
Specifically, Cam, TPS, Fuel Injector and Oscar's note that the VVT connector also works on the NA Evap.
At some point need to clear up year ranges etc and update that spreadsheet but it all takes time.
Also had someone looking for EFR turbo connector which should be CONN-85660 for the pigtail or CONN-75660 for the kit.

People asked for it, so we added the Mazda Miata Variable Inertia Charging System Connector (VICS) connector added at the bottom of the Miata specific page here:
Ballenger Motorsports - High Performance Electronics
We don't have a VICS car here, so hopefully someone can check it.

Another update. CAS Connector & 4 Way Ignition coil connector added. Not sure on the year range / option range for the 4 Way coil connector, if someone lets me know I will update it online.
Ballenger Motorsports - High Performance Electronics
The 2 way male & female connectors used for sensor connections like ABS are here but not online yet.

Agreed. The 99/00 coil pack uses a 4 pin connector where only 3 pins are populated.
I noticed the Ballenger Miata page has the same 3 pin connector listed for 1989 - 2005, but I believe that specific 3 pin connector only fits the 01-05 factory quazi-COPs. I cannot comment on the 89-97 fitment, but I know its wrong for 99/00.
