1.6 450whp or bust

Sorry to break the norm and actually take criticism with a grain of salt. Learning is part of the process and every bit of information helps. Aside from the rather course and abrasive nature a few of my responders had it was all in good sport. Learned a lot and have been sent in the right direction now hopefully.
And as far as horsepower and "numbers" are concerned, I'm new to the "miata platform" not so much the performance modification aspect. I've been around a few outstanding performers and have had a hand building quite a few myself. Granted honda's tend to be a bit less picky when it comes to forced induction.

How did I get dragged into this? I post everyday, wtf.
Edit: Holy ****, OP you're ******* stupid. Gotta bust out the serious pics for this.
Edit: You're not impressing anyone. The 323/protege crowd have made WAY more power than us and did it a long time ago. I traded my 450hp rated intercooler for the 350hp rated unit after recently riding in my friend's new E30 build (400-ish whp). Guess what? He ******* hates it. It spins everywhere, draws way too much attention AND they actually have trans/diffs/axles that are worth a ****.
The novelty wears off. I'm already on the lookout for a smaller turbo, too. It's ******* pointless. Try as you might but you won't feel a thing from getting your e-***** sucked by random ------s on a car forum.

OP :
Trackspeed Engineering
Best money you'll spend on a 1.8 and fully built !
They even show the recipe for success that many of us followed...
Component list:
-Supertech forged pistons (choice of compression ratios/bore size)
-Manley forged H-beam connecting rods
-ARP2000 Rod Bolts
-ACL Race main, rod, and thrust bearings
-ARP head studs
-ARP main studs
-Boundary Engineering "Street/Strip" oil pump with billet gears
-Supertech Viton valve seals
-Gates Racing timing belt
-OEM Mazda seals and gaskets
-Full cylinder head refresh (hot tank, new manganese/bronze valve guides, 3-angle valve job, pressure test, and resurface)
-Balanced and Blueprinted
Maximum operating RPM: 7400rpm
Maximum engine power: 600whp+
Maximum operating RPM with upgraded valvetrain: 8500rpm
Ask Andrew about their 11.75'' big brake kit, you'll need some brake too with this much power and this is one the best money can buy...
Go on their site and READ ! After do the same thing at 949racing.com, you'll thank me later on.
Easy and both of them are not far from you...

Bro, I love me. I'm busy over here trying to get jacked&tan and internet peeps be riding my *** over my car...not that I don't like that sort of thing
Edit: Vlad, I really want a set of leather high back NB seats. PM me if you come across a pair.
OP, word from the not-so wise; when my 3.3 arrives, I am NEVER touching my car again. EVER. ******* NEVER.
