I'm filling my catch can when in boost, if I drive around without getting into boost it doesn't seem to move any oil.
On the driver's side (RHD car) I have a 323GTX PCV valve, with a brake booster one way (check) valve in front of it. I have verified the one way valve works fine with compressed air.
On the passenger side I have a -8 fitting going to a catch can, then to the intake. Here is a pic of the setup:
I thought it was just due to the PCV valve, hence why the one way valve was added in series, but the problem persists.
Any ideas? The engine has perfect leakdown and compression.

I am running a check valve from flyin miata and has no issues since then.
Ok, I've searched n00b search! (I even like searching.) But here's a question.
I'm getting what seems to be boost leaking through the PCV, pressurizing the crankcase and then oil leaks out from all over the place on the block. Only happens on track - I don't WOT on the street (scared of civilians).
I had reduced this a lot before with a 323GTX PCV but now it's back. New wastegate actuator is at 8 psi or so, I think the old one maybe was a tick lower.
I'm tired of this and just want it to go away. I'm planning to plumb in a proper check valve (I'll leave the PCV in there to make the car look as CA compliant as possible in case of any roadside inspections). Also doing a catch can, but was planning closed loop on that rather than vent through a breather (but I'll do that if I can't fix this crankcase pressure otherwise).
Question is... exactly what kind of check valve should I get and where do I get it?

eBay to the rescue
So it seems like the original idea of running both valve cover vents to a vented oil catch can has been supplanted by running the driver side vent to a catch can and to keep the PCV vent tube connected to the intake.
I'm only running 10psi, but I'm also using a setup that has Andrew giggling (at the stupidity of the build); 9.5:1 compression with stock Supertech rings and a 2560 churbo.
I opened up the internal vent holes, added some stainless scrubbers and then screwed it all back down with some generous gasket sealer. The driver vent will go to an eBay oil catch can ($35, free shipping), and I'll end up connecting the PCV setup again. Since the catch can has two inlet holes, I'll add some more venting.
For being an eBay special, the can is pretty cool. It's got an M12 x 1.5 pitch hole a the bottom with an included magnetic drain plug. I traded that for a quick drain with a lever. When I looked inside of the can, it also looks to have a baffle. My rings were so shot that I had the same results as Bob did with his high HP, high g-force car; oil everywhere. However, when the rings are shot it's really not the fault of catch can.
