Best way to go twin turbo?

i'd honestly like to see a compound boosted miata.. not two turbos, but a jrsc being fed by a single turbo.. roots power down low, and after the efficiency of the eaton droops off, the turbo takes over and has spooled waaaay up.. awesome hp curve..
(i'm seasoned to eaton blowers, and know their nature... and absolutely despise the amount of heat they generate at high rpms, and thats why i'm ditching the one on my tbird for a turbo setup)
