Default Brass Oil Galley Plug Sealant

About to install new brass oil galley plugs. Do I need to apply some silicone/rtv or special sealant before driving the plugs in place? Or just install them dry?

I used red loctite. Silicone or aviation sealer would probably work as well. They are pressed in with a fair amount of interference fit.

I ended up using red Locktite. It was a real tight interference fit.
