Alright. So today i took the miata to go get something and after flooring it just on first gear i stopped. Nothing seemed wrong after i got to the place about half a mile away the car starts to idle, up and down,up and down. Then after that i drove the car to this pet store, got out went to the store, came back out and started up the car. AND THIS IS WHEN IT HAPPENS!! The car started to idle and sounded like a muscle car. I went outside and white smoke was blowing out of the exhaust pipe. I then opened the hood and it looked like white smoke was burning out of the headers. Maybe something came loose and went down to the exhaust pipe? Oh and the car started bogging like it was gonna shut off and it felt like the engine didnt have any power to go forward. Head gasket maybe? I dont know but help PLEASE???!! Sorry dont know if this thread should be here but im kinda new to this.

 

Your car is fooked. Head gasket for sure, if not bigger problems. And how high did the car rev in 1st gear?

 

When i let it cool down. It revs like normal. But when it starts to heat up it revs up slow to about 3000rpm and then ill stop. And it smells like gas leaking somewhere when i opened up the hood.

 

Is it still blowing white smoke out of the tailpipe? Have you checked your coolant in the radiator for oil?

 

Wait so if theres water then its bad? Or when all the water is gone its bad?

 

Well if there is water, and there's oil in it, then it's bad. If there's no water in it, then it's bad. If it's full of water, and it looks fine, then that's not bad.

 

If you're blowing white smoke out of the exhaust, plan to spend a lot of money or put in a lot of work.

man that stinks. perhaps open up the oil cap and look inside to see if there is anything besides oil in there. I have the feeling you'll find some coolant in there as well.

At last take pics to post them here, more eyes to double check are better than only your own.

 

Yup. Ill sure post some pictures of it tomorow. Sorry but it was raining and didnt feel like going out and taking pictures.
