Default harder/better/faster/stronger SPOOL or not soo much?

recently installed Begi-s kit with china charger 2554...was running straight out of down pipe for a week because no muffler shop will touch it til the weekend due to insurance purposes. spool without full exhaust was pretty decent. now it may just be me but with a straight through pipe and a few turns in the exhaust creating back pressure, boost feels like it comes sooner. possible or not possible?
It's 2.5in from turbo back with no catalytic converter or muffler. sounds delicious! ha

feedback and hatred pls.... hahaha

Could be that it was running like dookie and adding the exhaust moved the AFRs more to where they should be.
Do you have a wideband?
How is it tuned? FMU?

just running the begi spaceship fmu right now. thinking about taking that crap off and just running the stock fpr until I get MS because im super lean right after crank ups. it takes it a few minutes to level out on the afr gauge. not really sure whats going on there. but it runs slightly rich after I drive it about a quater mile. i read that its best to run a little rich on boosted motors anyway. its not tuned just yet. ive only had the turbo installed for about 400 miles or so.

you shouldn't be touching boost on a turbo setup without tuning. that's how motors and newbs fail. like was previously stated, prolly runs better cuz the afr is closer to what it needs to be, otherwise no, spool would be fastest with a dump @ the turbo.
