No joke. The way things are going, deaths coming in threes and what not, who is next?

I'm seriously putting the boost to 9 or 10 tomorrow. Don't want to, but seeing all this **** and everyone swearing it wasn't knock worries me.

Just go read about Paul's 300+ rwhp motor on stock '99 internals and you will feel better... at least until your motor blows up

No kidding. This car pulls very well at 11. I ran it at 15 for a day and that was wicked. The LAST thing I want to do is turn it down.

I'm pretty sure your turbo at 15psi would flow enough for 300whp....damn that must have felt great

This is starting to scare me too. This year, i am going to do this to my motor. One way or another, i am going to force myself to put in a built motor.

This reassures me that playing it safe (or being a *****) and staying around 200whp is a good move. On my stock rebuild anyway. All of this blowing up talk lately has me spooked.

Happens in 3's - already happened. THE SAME DAY Matt bent his rods, we had an MSM bend two rods here too. Then ZX-Tex blew his. Hopefully, there are no more!

One of mine bent mid last year... No signs of detonation, hydrolock, etc., and no recent hard driving. And the rod bent when I was attempting to start the car... How exciting.
Maybe Mazda built all of their rods at once and there was an expiration date we weren't aware of? lol
