I won a free Competition Clutch at the last Global Time Attack event for fastest overall time. I can't use it (they don't make a clutch for the LFX) so I'm giving it away on Instagram. If you know someone in need, help me find a good home for it by nominating them:

The 8.8 are the cheap Quaife. Unless these are knock offs for $433

Well, that puts it back up to the not so cheap range. Man that's a lot of money, I'll stick with the CTS diff clutch type. It was only $275 shipped, might even get a couple more in other ratio's.

lol. Just wanted to clarify the reason Ryan went up in spring rates. It wasn't as if Xidas intrinsically "need" more spring rates. What does typically happen when switching from less responsive, non-digressive dampers is that the car might feel softer on Xidas if the same rates from some other shocks are used. That is also a function of friction reduction. So we can get lower effective wheel rates at higher piston velocities while benefiting from increased roll and pitch control. So, we can increase to spring rates that would not work with other shocks due to their valving and internal friction.
We talked about his setup and where it was headed. Decided the car would benefit from higher spring rates which we knew the triples could easily handle. I forgot what exact rates he is running but it's just a bit below what we ran on Bullet for UTCC/Hyperfest. His car was balanced with good pitch/roll control and tire temps on the dry track. His Xida triples still have headroom for even more spring rate and 295 Hoosiers if he ever decides do that for certain events.

Currently at 1300/600 spring rates with alternate options in the spares box.
More power? There's still more speed to be had with the power I'm at now! Unfortunately, the wall contact at VIR set me back to the tune of a couple hundred hours in terms of car development for the year; I had 3 or 4 areas of the car on the board for dramatic improvements, but now I've shifted focus back to getting the aero back up to 2018 spec in time for Superlap Battle. The other areas will get pushed to 2019. That said, whatever I do will remain focused on retaining the dead reliable nature of the package as it is now.

I picked up a set of Jongbloed 15x10's as the 949's are are indefinite delay. I noticed however that at full lock, mine hit the V8R Billet upper arm (rearward portion). Have you noticed this issue? Wondering if the lip of the 949's on the inside is of a different shape that clears?

Is that a legit diff? Cause I was literally looking at Quaifes an hour ago and they're like 1.2k MSRP. We have a lot of chinese companies make knock offs of our lockers and then sell them on ebay for cheap prices. Some have even gone as far as mimicking the boxes we send them in. Not trying to doubt you, $300 for a Quaife just seems really really low?

I can't say 100% that it is a legit Quaife, but researching the company, https://autotech.com/sale/driveline.html?limit=36 , shows they are liquidating a bunch of quaife products and are a wavetrac dealer. Also they were referenced when i was reading about the fitment issues source source
So I cant say one way or another if they are legit but I did buy one yesterday with the 15% off ebay deal so i guess we'll see.
Can you think of any way to verify its legitimacy than comparing measurements to the ones on the quaife website?
