Default MSM BNR build

Recently picked up an 04 msm with 160k miles and a bnr evo 3 16g turbo. Car currently has an arm intake, megan downpipe, isr catback and larger intercooler. The front main seal seems to be leaking so I pulled the motor and am shooting for a 300whp build. I live in NY so I will need to build the motor so it will still be able to run on the stock ECU every 2years for inspection/registration purposes.

The build
84mm 9:5:1 supertech pistons
Wiseco rings
eagle forged rods
arp head and main studs
Fluidampr harmonic balancer
Boundary oil pump
Ms2e pnp
dw300 fuel pump
770 or 1000cc injectors
Bnr evo 3 16g turbo

Is there anything I'm missing or should take into consideration before going forward with this build. Looking to be in the low 300whp range while running the stock msm 6speed and torsen diff.

thanks in advance for any input or guidance

I prefer the ATI dampener. If your planning on running e10 I would go with the smaller injector. The wiseco rings and st are the same. They are npr pn#21-GNH084000. The old wiseco ring pack xc3307lg was chrome plated with a slightly lower tension oil ring. You do not want to run a chrome ring with fi because they are too soft. The more modern ring pack uses a nitrided steel ring.

Just tuned mine, almost identical setup. 84mm 8.4:1 Wisecos, K1 rods, ARP head and main, although I have a custom long runner manifold to fit an Evo X/MSM bastard. Terrible boost control (min boost of around 13), and choked out at 290hp. I'm not sure the little MSM turbine will be able to spin anything fast enough to make 300, but you're welcome to try of course. I lost about 20 ft/lbs to a "quick spooling" stock MSM turbo between 3 and 4k, but have a 100hp advantage above that. They definitely need more breathing capabilities.

That MSM turbo no matter what you do to it just isnt up to the task. It spools slow and chokes off up top, the worst qualities a turbo can possibly have.
