Default Oil pressure after adding turbo

So I'm running a Tee off the oil pressure sender. I have the 1.6 analog sender and before the turbo I was reading 60/90psi idle/driving when cold, 30/60psi hot.

Now I read something like 15/30 hot and 30/60 cold. This happened immediately after installing the turbo, not even driven.

I've been wondering why this is. Is it because by teeing off the pressure sender I basically created a "leak" in that area that diverts oil pressure towards the turbo?
I got this FM kit used and I don't know if it has or needs a restrictor, but I don't think I'm pushing oil out the exhaust.

Even if this is normal I'd like to have real oil readings, any thoughts?

Thanks!
