Default How much are you making on a 100% STOCK MOTOR?

What is your setup..

Engine Year
Turbo
Management etc.
Max RPM

Post a dyno chart if you have it... How long have you been running with this setup?

I made 360hp on a stock 95 BP and ran it for 8 months like that.

Was using a custom Turbo setup with a T3/T4 50 Trim. 18-19psi.
3" Exhaust
FJO 341B ECU (Also did the same on a TECII)
Max RPM was 7650. More and I would blow Oil pumps.

Trying to decide how much I want to push my 2000 Engine with the Megasquirt. I don't like swapping motors when I have a car with A/C, PS, ABS etc..

Before:
All stock, and I mean nothing has ever been touched... got 99 WHP with my Automatic 1999 Miata.

After:

BEGi-S, custom IC, BEGi FMU, 315cc injectors, O2 Clamp, AEM UEGO, and some other goodies. HP... dunno yet. Still pinging at 8 PSI with WG adjusted all the way out. Solution is on the way this month in the form of new ECU thinggie. Hoping to be over 200 WHP...

Cheers,
Prospero

wow y8s... 257 whp with less than 10psi? amazing.

Me:
15g turbo
greddy manifold and dp
custom FMIC (large - 12x25x3)
Vortech fmu
Greddy knock-off bypass valve
10* timing, no pulling under boost
6.5 psi

Setup is very cobbled together right now - the greddy dp and vortech need to go. As-is I'm just hoping to be in the 150 whp range.
In a month or two with a MSPNP, 460cc inejctors and Begi DP and 9 psi I'm probably looking for more like 190 whp.

Yikes? Not everybody is making more than 2.5 times stock power on a stock block...that's wimpy? I'd say smart.

Sorry.... I disagree Our engines are built for a ton of power. Every Miata needs 250hp. I miss my old 350+ setup like mad.

218 Hp with a stock 96 engine.
limiting this was the stock cat and 2-1/4 exhaust.

expecting to top 250 with my new 2001 engine and 3" exhaust.
