Ben, if I click "your notifications", it dumps me into a dropdown menu. It's just a feature for having the feature's sake; it serves no useful purpose.

And I can't seem to accept the single friend request I have anyway. (only one request )

 

aha, i see. i right click on "your notifications" and open in new tab.

 

I dont see this notifications thing. did I not pay up or what.

I have a theory.
I bet the dropmenu only shows up if you have a new notification or new PM.

yup. soon as i read my pm, it went back to "private messages"

which is contextually pretty lame indeed.

 

I'm bummed it was cool until i realized it went away. Oh well, more reason to be excited about PMs.
