I'm sorry I didn't mean to offended you by saying my opinion that I would have still bought an Xbone even though it had the features that you personally did not desire. So much anger over a console that my purchasing had no effect over your life whatsoever.

lol, dude. No one is offended. This is the internet. I was not "angered" by the xbone, but my brother sure was. He and the majority of his friends are die hard xbox fans and he was disappointed that microsoft pretty much said, "lol, sux 2 be U"

and please, like hell anyone really wanted a 24hr check in deal. Your xbox would have to remain dormant in your house/apartment for the rest of it's life until the servers were shut down and it became bricked.

Meanwhile PS users get PS+ and can take their **** anywhere, anytime, trade games, watch blurays in the woods for days, etc...

 

Just like the Hipsters that buy the iPhones, and 6 months later buy the NEXT iPhone, even though its no better.... JUST because its an iPhone.

Doesnt affect those of us who actually appreciate REAL performance, and GOOD technology... We just like to sit back and Laugh at all the hipster clones. No real anger here... we just dont understand the Trendy motivation towards such purchases.

We preordered a ps4 yesterday. Girlfriend has the ps4 and xbox one at work so the chose was easy =P.

I will get a xbox when they remove the kinect.

The fact that it took so much complaining and fighting to get M$ to listen is more than enough to keep me away from their platform.

 

Kinect is no longer required, but Microsoft wants the Kinect to be required.

Therefore, Microsoft will release an update requiring the Kinect for all games/software/operating system approximately 6 months post-launch.

They will also require internet connection at some point post launch.

History shows that when Microsoft wants to force people to adopt their "technology", they don't care what "people" think about it. Windows 8 is a prime example. Microsoft doesn't give a **** that nobody really WANTS windows 8 on a desktop computer, if you buy a new desktop computer today, you're basically forced into windows 8, and you have to pay MORE to get Windows 7. Win8 is probably great for tablets...but nobody REALLY wants a windows tablet either.

In the future, you're not even going to be able to use Microsoft Office without being connected to the internet and chronically paying for the privledge.

As long as it's packaged and you have to buy it I'm no picking one up. If I do it will be off craigs list

 

I don't really care how much they track back. As long as the xbone (am I the only one saying x-bone?) is a better, awesomer 360 and they don't watch me fap through mandatory kinect/online, I'm good and will probably pick it up anyway because I'm a console ***.

 

It's not about tracking, it's about trying to force shitting motion controls into games.

You can't go wrong with a N64. No Internet Connection, No fancy set up. Just boot up and have the time of your life.
